The Urban India – Cities Pavilion at the Expo aims to provide a platform for sharing Experiences , initiatives , strategies , decisions in urban management . It brings forth an opportunity to participate in discussions and know from first – hand experience of Indian & International cities especially from South Asia for effective management of growth.

THEME

Today Local Economic Development ( LED ) has emerged as an effective process of planning and implementation that redresses the limits of market mechanisms and ensures urban livability . LED seeks to improve the economic potential of a city and the quality of life for all local residents and businesses. The Expo will provide participants with an opportunity to interact with a host of cities , share and learn from their experiences of taking initiatives to enable local economic development.
